Millers Glen Apartments is a high-quality residential development comprising 99 modern units across six thoughtfully designed blocks, located in the well-established Millers Glen estate in Swords, Co. Dublin.

Developed by Gannon Homes in partnership with Respond, the completed project is a key contribution to Ireland’s Housing for All initiative, having delivered much-needed, sustainable homes in a growing and vibrant community.

Designed by leading architectural firm Conroy Crowe Kelly, the scheme emphasised contemporary aesthetics, energy efficiency, and high-quality finishes throughout. As main contractor, GEM Construction successfully delivered the project with a focus on durability, environmental performance, and resident wellbeing.

The development integrates seamlessly with the broader Millers Glen masterplan, connecting to the area’s infrastructure and services, including a carefully planned attenuation lake and a regional park—both designed by our Civils team. These shared amenities enhance the overall resident experience of the estate and offer residents access to valuable green space.

Constructed using traditional methods, the apartment blocks feature precast floors, masonry load-bearing walls, and timber roofs. Due to proximity to the Broad Meadow River, the site had been raised in previous development phases to mitigate flood risk, necessitating piled foundations for this phase. Waterman Moylan provided comprehensive civil, mechanical and electrical and structural engineering from planning through to completion.

The project was completed ahead of schedule, with all six blocks delivered in advance of the original timeline, reflecting strong collaboration across the project team and a shared commitment to quality and sustainability.
