We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for two awards at the Irish Building and Design Awards: ‘Engineering Project of the Year’ and ‘Team of the Year’.
The Awards celebrate the very best in architecture, engineering, construction, design, innovation, and the future of the Irish Built Environment.
‘Engineering Project of the Year’ – College Square
College Square is a major mixed-use regeneration project in Dublin city centre, located just south of the River Liffey and north of Trinity College Dublin. Developed by Marlet Property Group, the project replaced two 1970s office buildings, College House and Apollo House, with a new scheme designed by Henry J Lyons and built by Walls Construction.
The development offers high-end residential apartments, an entertainment venue, and 540,000 sq ft of LEED Platinum-certified commercial space. Its 82-metre residential tower, now Ireland’s tallest, includes 58 luxury apartments across 22 storeys, complemented by extensive communal amenities and external terrace areas. Our team provided civil and structural engineering expertise for this exceptional development.
‘Team of the Year’ – Waterman Moylan
Over the past ten years, our Structures team, led by Anthony Byrne, has been privileged to work with fantastic clients, design teams, and contractors on a wide range of landmark projects.
You can view the full list of finalists on the Awards website.
The Awards will take place on 13 March 2026 at the InterContinental Hotel, Dublin.
