The scheme comprises six apartment blocks, ranging from four to eight storeys, strategically arranged across a prominent corner site at the junction of Airton Road and Greenhills Road. Two blocks are constructed over a shared single-level basement, while the remaining buildings are founded at ground level. The development also provides 202 car parking spaces and 584 bicycle spaces, promoting both accessibility and sustainable transport.
A precast concrete superstructure was used above ground floor level, with in-situ reinforced concrete framing providing the basement-to-podium structure, which accommodates resident amenity spaces and commercial units. Given the ground conditions, piled foundations were adopted under the non-basement blocks, with pad foundations formed monolithically with the basement slab, which is founded on stiff boulder clay beneath the basement structure.
Constructed by Walls Construction, our team provided civil, structural and traffic engineering services throughout the design and delivery of the development, supporting the successful completion of this significant residential scheme in South Dublin.
