We are delighted that Clancy Quay Phase 2, a high profile residential scheme in Dublin, has won the Housing award at the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Architecture Awards.
The awards recognise the quality of work carried out by RIAI members and highlight the contribution that Irish architects make to society for everyone’s benefit. In its 29th year running, 2018 saw the highest number of entries to the awards since before the recession.
Kennedy Wilson has completed Phase 2 of this 3 phase project which provides an additional 164 high quality two and three bed residential units located in the central portion of the site. Designed by OMP Architects, these homes are provided as a mix of new build townhouses and apartments and tasteful conversions of the historic army barracks buildings, which give the development a distinctive and unique identity. Due to the quality of its buildings, the barracks has provided the backdrop for filming on several substantial period productions in recent years, including the BBC series ‘Ripper Street’.
Our Dublin team provided full multidisciplinary engineering and health & safety co-ordination services for Kennedy Wilson. Our team was also responsible for engineering input for the fit-out of 12 penthouse apartments in Phase 1, the gym and resident facilities.
