Mooretown Phase 1 in Swords completes

Published 1st February 2024

We are delighted to have recently completed works on the first phases of the Mooretown residential development in Swords, Co. Dublin, developed by Gannon Homes Ltd. This is part of the Mooretown and Oldtown Local Area Plan, which has been identified by the local authority for new community development, with the potential for up to 3,000 new homes for Swords. The first phase of Mooretown consisted of 223 No. A-grade homes and a Creche. Mooretown is being developed alongside Millers Glen in Oldtown, another Gannon Homes Ltd. development of A-grade homes and apartments, both accessible from the Rathbeale Road in Swords.

We provided civil, structural, mechanical and electrical Engineering services for the Mooretown project, alongside other Design Team Members Conroy Crowe Kelly Architects, Doyle O’Troithigh, Mulcahy McDonagh & Partners. Earlier phases of the overall Mooretown scheme consisted of a new distributor and school access road (completed in 2021) servicing a new school campus and future phases of development. We provided engineering and PSDP Services for the infrastructure works for the distributor road and within the development.

We look forward to continue working as part of the team delivering much needed homes as the next phases of the development take off.
