Public housing project at Church Fields starts on site

Published 8th February 2024

We recently attended the commencement ceremony for a large public housing project at Church Fields, Mulhuddart, Co Dublin, where An Taoiseach (Prime Minister), Leo Varadkar, was the guest of honour and turned the sod.

Also in attendance were the Minister for Housing, Darragh O Brien, and the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Roderic O’Gorman.

The Church Fields project will provide a mix of social, affordable, and cost rental homes to this rapidly expanding Dublin community. The 220 houses and 80 apartments are to be delivered in phases over the next two and a half years. As well as the new homes, the project will deliver a creche, community facilities, two retail units, and a public park. The project has been designed with sustainability in mind, in keeping with the Government’s 2030 Climate Action Plan.

We are delighted to be providing multi-disciplinary services to design and build contractor GEM Construction on this exciting project.
