Senior Electrical Engineer, Dublin

Are you an established Senior Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Would you like to play a key role in supporting some of the most exciting projects in Ireland? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Based in Dublin a stone’s throw away from the Tolka river, our welcoming team is working on a range of prestigious and innovative projects throughout Ireland. This full-time role offers you the chance to deliver electrical engineering designs for a range of medium- to large-scale schemes across all sectors, including commercial, residential, retail and education.

About the role:

You’ll take a leading role in the preparation of scheme designs, detailed designs and tender packages for electrical services, as well as subsequent monitoring of construction, testing and commissioning and handover to the client.

You’ll have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will prepare technical reports to a high standard. You’ll be confident coordinating with the architect, design team members, clients and end users, and you’ll also be a key point of contact with power supply companies, electrical contractors and specialists to help develop the brief and the subsequent design.

You’ll ideally have a minimum of a Level 8 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related Building Services degree from a recognised third-level institution, along with at least three years’ previous experience in this field. Experience in the planning and design of electrical systems for commercial, residential, healthcare and education sector projects would be beneficial, whilst a detailed knowledge of the applicable electrical design standards in Ireland is essential.
